We came home from Steve's parent's spent a day doing laundry and running errands and then hit the road again to visit Steve's Grandmother who we call Nanny. It is a long trip for the kids, but we played the ABC game where you take the first letter from a word that you see either on the side of vehicles buildings or road signs, but you cannot take them from license plates. Steve learned the game from his mother, and it really does make the time go by fast. It ended up being all three kids on my side and Steve on his own (we won). Then the kids listened to Peter Pan on CD.
This is a Uncle Sam. Nan raised him from the time he was 10 months old. He lives in Niger West Africa where Nanny and Pappy were missionaries. Sam is in the states visiting for a few months, we all enjoyed spedning tiem with him. We have not seen him since I was pregnant with Etienne.
On Saturday we went to the local park, the same park Nan went to when she was a little girl. All the dogwoods, magnolia and cherry blossoms were out. I brought one of my old cameras and just soaked it all in.
