Earlier this year, somebody taught my kids the "Punch Buggy" game--you know, the one where you get to slug someone in the arm when you see a VW beetle. The kids are too enthusiastic about playing this game in the car.

I am trying really hard to cut it off at Punch Buggies and "Bruiser for a Cruiser" (PT Cruiser) but Steve is working at coming up with something for the Mini Coopers...as if there isn't utter chaos in the car already!

Steve's parents are on one of their many missions trips this time in West Africa and just sent this to the kids.

The subject line on the e-mail was "Punch Buggy Blue No Punch Back". I can just see Dad or Mom going over and getting this picture for the kids!

My kids used to do this too.....and starting making up WAY TOOOO may additional cars to slug, punch and smack for!! We could hardly go 2 ft. without someone getting whalloped for something!! They were pretty creative with getting names too.....I'll have to ask my son what some of them were. :)

My brother and I used to play that game on long drives, but we called it Slug Bug.
I imagine your kids LOVED the picture!

I made the mistake of teaching my kids that game when we were on a road trip this past summer. (it has gotten really chaotic in the car in the months since the gem was introduced.) Although we haven't done the "bruiser for a cruiser" yet...they often got the VW and the cruiser mixed up the first month.

Very funny about the blue one from Africa.
