This couple was one of the most comfortable in front of the camera I have ever met! I could have photographed them ALL DAY LONG!

They have not been married for very long so it felt like an engagement shoot.

One of the things that really stood out to me with this couple was how much they enjoy being with each other. They laugh a lot and are just delighted to be together.

A few years ago I took pictures for my church of all the people who can no longer get out to church. One couple now lives in a nursing home, if I remember correctly they have to have separate rooms, but they meet each other down in the main room early in the morning and spend the rest of their day there. They sit side by side in their respective wheelchairs smiling and laughing and holding hands. Everyone in the nursing home knows about their love. That is totally how I picture this couple sixty years from now..still laughing still in love.

What a cute couple!!! My fav. is the one where you are looking down at them----the 9th picture.

I hope that they ALWAYS enjoy and love each other in a glorious fulfilling way . . . God's blessings upon them and their new life as one.

what a sweet post! i think your assessment of them in 60 yrs. is spot on...i can totally see that! great pictures too :) where did you take the ones where they are on opposite sides of the wall on the metal staircase? just curious...great idea.

I caught my breath when I saw that first pic!! They are absolutely amazing & look like they could be CD covers or something! What a blessed couple to have these pics :)

I love that about the couple in the nursing home. So precious. I know Dave and I will be like that one day!

how lucky for them to be close enough

to have an eye such as yours capture them.

they do indeed look happy, and content in their love

for one another, and it certainly shows through in your photos.

What a beautiful thing to be able to share. I love to see love shining! What a sweet couple in the care home! awww, that just makes me yearn for a life spent in love with my husband....*sigh*
