I love the flower boots!! I think my girls each need a pair (not that I ever take them out in the rain or mud, but they are still adorable). I love the pictures and glad that you got to enjoy the day outside. I need to make more of an effort to do that, but I have a million excuses why I don't

Then I wanted to tell you how inspiring this post is. I am just wanting to get the paints out in preparation for yet another journal!!!
This is sooo good for your children to experience..the creating, the mess, the process=the finished masterpiece! When I was teaching art, there were many children who were just so intimidated by the idea of diving into a project like this. They were so wired to just color a page....in the lines. To be able to think of something on their own was difficult. I would start them slowly...and slowly they began to enjoy the process...yes, even getting paint on their hands!

(BTW- I hated coloring in the lines as a kid...but soon learned that it was what the teacher expected. I have a son just like me..and he is still "coloring outside the lines".)

What beautiful pictures! I loved them! Oh, I am missing spring right now!!! Longing for it!! We got snow last night :o( Oh, well, that just means we have it still to look forward to! :o) right?
