More of Amanda and Josh's Wedding...

A bridesmaid getting her hair done and reading at the same time. When a verse stuck out she would read it to Amanda.

She (one of the bridesmaids) talked about having a hard time being indoors for so long. She had spent time working on a farm. During my time with the girls getting ready I looked over to see her here at the window and was able to get this first shot of her without her knowing.

What is important to you today Amanda what will you regret if it doesn't happen? I asked her.

"I want to get with my girls and just pray before the ceremony." Was her answer.

She and Josh say all the time "I am blessed" This pose fits her to a "T"

You take the best shots of people and it shows their souls through the pictures I've ever seen. Do you do this for a living or for fun? You do have an art eye for sure!

Pretty brides and girls.... are all the dresses the same? Some seemed like straight skirts - I couldn't tell.

I am alone w/6 kids all 9 and under but I took time to sneak away to my computer! I was rewarded w/the treat of seeing these beautiful pictures.

Jo, you did a great job! I love the detail shot of the shoes and bouquet (very nice shoes!). The getting into the dress shot is a great, natural candid...good timing! Love the toe rings on the feet picture, so cute, the shot shows that she has some personality to her. The photo of her putting on her earring, is just beautiful, I love how you softened it. The ones of her with her arms out (esp. the horizontal ones) are nice b/c you showed her emotions. And the praying ones are stunning. I love how you have the branches in the foreground. Ok, I know this is practically a book, but you deserve every word. :)

I hate to repeat others, but they have pretty much said it all!! The pictures are beautiful and make me want to have another wedding (not really, I wouldn't want to have to start all over) Maybe just a vow renewal with my adorable kids as "witnesses".

They are stunning pics. Really. Stunning.

The book on my site was from my husband's collection. He has had it "forever." It is a collection of essays on prayer by Missionary Alliance preachers many decades ago. He is from an Alliance background in Peru. Anyway, I find many of the essays quite convicting, and I read the one on fasting often because it is actually ENCOURAGING. An oxymoron, but true.
